IGNOU Re-Registration Last Date 2024

IGNOU has opened the re-registration link for its existing students from 1st May 2024. The university has also mentioned the last date when the students can comfortably complete their re-registration on the portal. All students must complete their re-registration process for their respective courses by 31st July 2024

So, the university has offered about 2 months for everyone to complete their re-registration with the university. According to the trends, the university may extend the last date for form submission. However, you may have to pay a late fine if you proceed with the re-registration after the current last date of 31st July 2024

How to Fill IGNOU Re-Registration Form 2024

Offline candidates can visit their respective study centre and regional centre to enquire and submit a re-registration form. However, you must follow this method to fill out the IGNOU re-registration form 2024 online. 

  • First Time Registration

Candidates who are re-registering for the first time, must follow these steps to attain the login credentials first.

Step – 1 – On the login page, you must click on New Registration.

Step – 2 – On the next page, select your programme first.

Step – 3 – Next, enter the name on your ID card and enrolment number.

Step – 4 – Finally, type the captcha code and submit the details.

The university will send you login credentials through email that you must use to login and complete the re-registration process.

  • Re-Registration Form 2024 Submission

Step – 1 – Visit the IGNOU official website through the link http://www.ignou.ac.in

Step – 2 – Under Register Online, click on Re-registration to get a window or click directly on the link https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/

  • Re-Registration Password Reset

While the username for the portal is your enrolment number, it is the password that is extremely crucial for login. However, in case you forget the password, here is the way to recover it.

Step – 1 – On the login page, click on Reset Password.

Step – 2 – Select your programme and type your enrolment number.

Step – 3 – Submit the details and check your registered email ID.

The university will send the password on your registered email that you can use to login and proceed with the re-registration process.

IGNOU Re-Registration Fee 2024

The re-registration fees in 2024 will vary depending on factors such as programs, credits, and others. So, you must check the fee amount while submitting the re-registration form online. Apart from the fee, if you submit the re-registration form after the mentioned deadline, you may also have to pay an additional late fine along with the actual fee.
