IGNOU Admission Last Date 2024

IGNOU has officially started its July 2024 admission on 14th May 2024. Furthermore, the last date for IGNOU Admission 2024 is 30th June 2024. However, the university may further extend the last date to 31st July 2024.

According to the previous history, it is expected that the university may further extend the last date for the July 2024 session but till then, the candidate should complete the admission process by the given due date.

How to Fill IGNOU Admission Form 2024?

Students who wants to get registered for the IGNOU Admission July 2024 can do the same after the official announcement. There are both online and offline ways to get admission to IGNOU. 

  • IGNOU July 2024 Online Admission:

If you wish to take online admission for IGNOU July 2024, here is the process. 

Step – 1 – You can visit the admission portal through the direct link https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/.

Step – 2 – Click on New Registration

Step – 3 – Go through the instructions and then fill in the Student Registration Form.

Step – 5 – After the registration process, return to the Admission Login page

Step – 6 – Login with your registered username, password, and captcha verification

Step – 7 – Now, provide all the essential details that the portal is asking for.

Step – 8 – Check through the details carefully and then pay the registration fee along with the admission fee depending upon the program and course that you choose.

Step – 9 – Save carefully the admission receipt, the submitted form, and most importantly the Control Number that appears immediately after the submission. 

  • IGNOU July 2024 Offline Admission:

If you are not comfortable completing the admission procedure online, you can also get offline admission at IGNOU. For offline admission, you must visit your nearest IGNOU Regional Center and enquire about admission to your desired program and course. The authorities will provide you with the admission form and the university brochure. 

You must fill out the admission form carefully and attach the required documents. Submit the form along with the documents and a bank demand draft. The amount mentioned on the DD should comprise the Registration Fee of Rs. 300 plus the course fee. The DD should be addressed to your IGNOU Regional Center.

Required Documents for IGNOU Admission 2024

Before starting your registration for IGNOU in July 2024, you must arrange the scanned copies of all these documents. 

  • Educational Marksheets
  • Work Experience Certificate
  • Category Certificate to take the privilege of SC/ST/OBC
  • Age Proof
  • Signature
  • Passport size Photograph

All the documents should not be more than 200KB while the photograph and signature should not be more than 100KB in size. 

IGNOU Admission 2024 Fees

IGNOU charges two types of fees when you enroll in any of the programs and courses of IGNOU through Admission in July 2024. There are three categories of Registration Fees that you must know about.

IGNOU Admission Fees Refund Policy 2024

The IGNOU registration fee of Rs. 300 is not refundable. However, you can expect a course admission fee refund under this IGNOU Policy 2024:

  • The university will offer a 100% refund of the course fee if you cancel the admission before the confirmation.
  • You will get a refund of the course fee after a deduction of Rs. 500,  15 days after the admission confirmation. 
  • You will get a refund of the course fee after a dedication of Rs. 1000, 16 to 90 days after the admission confirmation. 
  • You will not get any refund 90 days after the admission confirmation. 

IGNOU Admission Status 2024

You can start checking your admission status 48 to 60 days after the admission through this method.
